An island is your own patch of Albion: farms, laborer houses and crafting stations nobody else can use. Farming on it is slow, safe silver that runs while you do everything else. Once it is set up it takes ten minutes a day, and it rewards players who log in daily more than players who play long sessions.
Getting an island
Buy a Player Island from the Island Merchant in a Royal City, Caerleon or Brecilien. You need at least 7 days of Premium to buy one; after that you keep it forever, Premium or not.
- You can own one island per city. Each island shares its city's biome.
- Travel between an island and its city is free. Travel to any other city costs silver.
- Since Rogue Frontier you can open the city bank from your island.
- Not sure yet? The Showroom Island, through the Island Merchant, lets you walk a fully built island before you pay.
The city matters because each one gives a 10% yield bonus to certain crops, herbs and animal products:
| City | Bonus products |
|---|---|
| Lymhurst | Carrots, Pumpkins, Crenellated Burdock, Goose Eggs |
| Bridgewatch | Beans, Corn, Dragon Teasel, Goat's Milk |
| Martlock | Wheat, Potatoes, Elusive Foxglove, Cow's Milk |
| Thetford | Cabbage, Arcane Agaric, Firetouched Mullein |
| Fort Sterling |
