ZvZ (zerg versus zerg) is Albion's big guild PvP: dozens of players a side fighting over territories, castles, outposts, Fortresses and Dragon Attacks. Your first one is chaos. Thirty voices, a caller shouting abilities and a fight that is over in forty seconds. You do not need to understand all of it. You need to be in the right party, in the right gear, doing what your party lead says.
How a zerg is organised
A zerg splits into parties, and each party has a job:
- Main party, or engage: tanks and usually the caller. They start the fight.
- Healer parties: keep the frontline alive and cleanse.
- Support: purges, shields, damage buffs and crowd control.
- Damage parties: follow the engage and hit what it catches. Many guilds run a bomb squad that dives in for one large burst of area damage.
- Battle mounts: ridden by experienced players to disrupt or engage.
Your officer puts you in a party. Stay in it. Moving because a friend is in another party breaks the plan.
