A comp is the plan for a whole party: who plays what, in which gear, with which swaps. Writing it down before the content saves the first ten minutes of every run.
Pick a party size
Open Plan a comp and choose a size. The presets are 1, 2, 5, 7, 10 and 20, or type your own. A five-slot comp starts with a tank, a healer, a melee DPS and two ranged DPS, which you can change.
Shrinking the comp removes the members past the new size, and the editor asks before it does.
Assign roles and players
Select a slot to set its role: Tank, Healer, Melee DPS, Ranged DPS, or a custom role such as "Battlemount" or "Scout". Add the player's name if you know who will fill it, and a substitute for when they cannot.
Set each loadout
Give every slot its gear. You can build it in place or copy one of your builds in. A copied build becomes the comp's own copy, so later changes to the original do not leak in.
Add swaps for slots that change gear between fights, such as a second weapon for a boss or a different cape for PvP. Leave a note on any slot that needs one: the rotation, the call it follows, the potion to save.
Order the roster
Drag slots to reorder them. On a keyboard or touch screen, use the move buttons instead. If you move something by mistake, Undo roster change puts it back.
Share it with your Team
A Team shares comps, announcements, events and sign-ups among its current members. When someone leaves the Team, they lose access to what it shares.
Saving a comp does not post it to Discord. Share the link yourself, or export the comp as JSON or an image if you want to paste it elsewhere.
A pre-run check
- Every slot has a role and a player, or a substitute.
- Every loadout fits the content's IP and the players' specs.
- Swaps are listed for the fights that need them.
- The Team can open the comp before you form the party.
