Warbow
By Mochamille · Solo MistsWant to rack up kills without ever breaking the bank? This is my most consistent 1 v X build! Warbow is first and foremost a kiter, so following are some flex options to know how to fight who: *To kite*: - Remember that when you're playing warbow, you're at your highest dps when you're at range. maintain range from melee weapons by swapping Ray of light to frost shot. Use your frostshot reactively to jump away from weapons looking to dive you. Especially with melee opponents, dance around them at the end of your Q range. Multishot with its slow makes landing your Magic Arrows (E) very consistent. - If someone starts running in a close fight, go back to basics. You're a kiter *FIRST*. It is melee players' jobs to catch you, not for you to catch them. Keep them in vision so you can deny any remounts, but dont even get close enough for melees to re-engage, you'll lose every close fight. - Assassin jacket is a MITIGATION tool first. Brawlers with Mercenary jacket or Stalker Jacket (and similar options) will try to pull you into their DPS windows when they can punch back. Deny their healing or damage by simply going invisible and walking away- very rarely will you have to play as though you get a damage boost from your chest piece. In fights where damage is inevitable and reflectable, swap to infernal shield, this way when trading blows with Spears and other flexible gearsets, you will never be taking free hits. **NOTE**: If you're doing content where youre expecting to trade hits, swap healing pots. Otherwise if you find yourself having to chase, use Poison pots for the slow and guaranteed damage. *To Catch* - Warbow is comfiest at range, to maintain range against other ranged matchups, you will want to keep ray of light, and instead swap to Deadly shot over Multishot. instead of using your Magic Arrow (E) around frost shot and multishots slow, you will instead use your ray of light to guarantee hits. - Same ideas apply with the second kiting portion of this written guide: if you are getting kited by another kiter, it is safer to take the reset than to chase if the fight is close. You are in more control when someone else is chasing. - Use the kiting portion of this guide if you're holding to more nefarious ganking activities first. Gatherers remount on a dime, so the moment you see one, the best way to catch them is to swap wanderlust on your boots, and stealth just out of vision range to get closer. use Ray of Light to catch them and despawn mounts, otherwise you will have trouble catching up again. wanderlust early after a gatherer sprints and ensure you dont get purged. Your stacking movement speed and overwhelming range will keep you close enough to make sure there are few opportunities to remount. *Conclusion* This build is extremely consistent and with mastery will allow you to take on far stronger opponents with ease if played perfect. This is by no means an uncommon build, but knowing your limitations will make even the most confident players at minimum struggle heavily to kill you. Good luck, and happy ganking!

By Oathy · Solo Mists# How to Play This Build In this build, it's essential for you to understand **why you're picking things**. So, I'm dropping below a small list of when to use each skill, so you learn to think about why you should use them instead of using them just because I told you to use them in a specific matchup. ## 1. Weapon Skills ### Q — Q1 Use it whenever you can. Kite with it, deal damage, and keep things simple. It's usually better against melee matchups and matchups where you need to create space. ### Q — Q2 You must use it in two specific situations: 1. **When an enemy blocks your path.** For example, a Fire Staff user with their Wall of Flames. Use it when someone can stay away from you and evade your auto-attacks (AA). 2. **When you can't brawl against your enemy.** This might be because they have significantly higher IP or because they're simply better at brawling and you would lose the trade. --- ### W — General Advice **Quick advice:** If you master when to use each W, the difference between you and the average Spear user will be MASSIVE. For this, here's the list. #### W1 — PvE Only You want to use this **ONLY for PvE**, for no other reason. W5 is simply better for PvP if you need more damage. **Advice:** I recommend using this W only when you believe you're safe. Examples: - You think the Mists you're in are empty. - You're running a Solo Dungeon. #### W2 — Situational Mobility Just don't. It's SO bad. Still, you can use it in some cases: - **Running away:** If you need to run for a long time, equip it. With a bit of channeling, you can gain some movement speed, followed by another boost from the second proc. Still, if you need to run and you're equipping this W, you should probably reconsider whatever you're about to do. #### W3 — Mobility Buff Removal This is the first W you'll mainly be using for PvP. You want to use it against matchups that have speed buffs you can cleanse. **Examples:** - Double Swords: When they use Q on you, you can simply W to cleanse their charges. - Rejuvenating Sprint. I recommend learning when to use it offensively and defensively. You don't want to use it just because an enemy is pressuring you with a small speed boost, only to use your boots afterward and get chased anyway. That would be bad, as you won't get them off you. Sometimes, you must also wait a little before pressing it, because you might get a better opportunity. #### W4 — Reflect This W is a niche pick, but it's mandatory in specific situations. You want to use it when: - Enemies want to poke you or you can't do anything to prevent them from hitting you. - You're fighting against burst-damage builds. **Examples:** - **Deathgivers:** They're about to double-E you. Proc W, and they might kill themselves. - **Skystrider:** They proc E and hit you. They'll receive reflected damage, and you can still win even if you take one or two hits. #### W5 — Main Damage Skill This is the W you actually **WANT to have equipped for your fights**. It provides: - Slows. - High damage. - A hard-to-dodge ability. This is just SO nice to use. You should use it whenever it's not necessary or more convenient to use another W. It works for: - PvE. - PvP. - Pursuing light kiters. - Damage checks. It just feels nice. Trust me. #### W6 — Heavy Kiting Matchups You want to use this W against heavy kiters, such as: - Chillhowls. - 1H Frost Staff. - Warbows. You normally want to pair this W with Q2. **Remember to think about your choice instead of picking skills mindlessly.** That way, you can land your W and leave the enemy crowd-controlled (CC'd) for a long time. --- ### E — Spirit Charges You don't need to change this skill, but you must understand when and how to use it. There are several ways to use E: #### 1. Execute Use it to finish kills while having **3 Spirit Charges** to secure the kill. #### 2. Pursuing Use it to close the distance and start brawling against enemies you want to fight in melee range. #### 3. Escaping Use it to create distance between yourself and your enemies. #### 4. Extra Damage In some cases, you might want to use E as a source of additional damage. I can't cover every possible situation, but you'll learn them over time. **Example:** You're fighting a Polehammer with Soldier Armor. Stack 2 Spirit Charges, then use E to create distance while dealing damage, allowing you to keep kiting. #### 5. Intentionally Taking Damage to Prevent an Escape If someone is about to escape and uses a skill that deals damage as part of their escape, you can E in front of them so they deal damage to you and become unable to escape afterward. --- ## 2. Off-Hand This is a playstyle-based choice. ### Taproot - Better for brawling. - Provides more tankiness. ### Torch - Slightly faster cooldowns. - Slightly faster auto-attack speed. - More overall damage. --- ## 3. Helmet ### Stalker Hood If you're using Stalker Hood, you should use it in three situations. #### 1. At the Start of a Long Fight If you know a fight is going to last a long time, use it at the beginning. The additional damage will be useful while you wait for the cooldown to come back before the enemy drops below 50% HP. #### 2. As an E Combo Finisher Use it to finish an enemy alongside E. **Example:** The enemy is below 30% HP (these values depend on the matchup), and you have 3 Spirit Charges. Simply use your helmet skill and E to execute them. #### 3. To Reveal Invisible Enemies If you think you can hit an invisible enemy with it, use it. The enemy will be revealed. ### Mercenary Hood You must know how to use it in two ways. #### 1. Defensively The enemy is about to deal a massive amount of damage to you. Proc it so you can withstand their damage. You can also use it when you want to brawl, as the enemy will be at a disadvantage. #### 2. Offensively The enemy is trying to escape. Proc it so they get slowed and take damage. --- ## 4. Jacket The question is: **Why should you pick one jacket over the other?** The answer is simple. ### Specter Jacket Choose it if you want a moderate increase in IP at a slightly higher price. ### Assassin Jacket Choose it if you want to avoid paying extra for IP and prefer a slightly cheaper option. ### Inferno Shield In both cases, **Inferno Shield is the better choice**. You can use it to: - Reflect damage. - Reduce incoming damage. - Win brawls. During those 8 seconds, the enemy should avoid attacking you, or they'll get into trouble, unless they're using a non-reflectable skill or can simply withstand both you and Inferno Shield and out-DPS you anyway. It's up to you to think about when these situations apply. *Cough, cough... 1H Dagger with full damage.* ### Assassin Jacket — Ambush With Assassin Jacket, you might find an interesting use for Ambush. Still, I wouldn't recommend it. --- ## 5. Boots Normally, you want to use **Rejuvenating Sprint**. However, against heavy kiters, if Harpoon isn't enough, you should consider picking the other skill. These are simply Albion fundamentals: - Gap closing. - Health regeneration. - Escaping. - And other basic mobility utilities. --- ## 6. Cape This depends on your playstyle, so just pick whichever suits you. ### Avalonian Cape **Defensive.** Reduces the enemy's damage. ### Thetford Cape **Offensive.** Its main purpose is to increase your damage. --- ## 7. Consumables ### Potions #### PvP — Healing Potion Just use Healing Potions. They're SO good. They provide healing and can save you in clutch situations. #### PvE / Escaping / High Danger — Invisibility Potion You might want to use an Invisibility Potion to escape, whether you're: - Roaming. - Trying to flee from a ganker. - In a zone with a ton of gankers. ### Food Another playstyle-based choice. #### Puremist — Brawling / Long Fights Use it when you want to brawl or expect long fights. #### Avalonian Stew — Kiting / Resetting / Short Fights Use it when you want to kite, reset fights, or focus on shorter engagements.

By Xuclamlatita · Solo Mists👤 Build Concept & Philosophy The golden rule of this set is strict budget management. High Budget / Confident Play: If you have enough silver and can comfortably afford at least 2–3 backup sets, go for the expensive, high-damage option. You must be confident in your PvP skills and play without fear. Low Budget / Eco Play: If these are your last resources, going out in expensive gear is a mistake. Fear of losing your items will cause you to choke and misplay during a fight. In this case, the build switches to a cheaper variant focused on survivability and sustain. 🛡️ Equipment & Skills 1. Head: Plate Helmet (Helmet of Valor) Armor Type: Plate Helmet. Provides high base health and defense stats (superior to cloth or leather), significantly boosting your overall survivability. Passive Skill: Increased Defense. Active Skill: Purge. Strips positive effects and buffs from the enemy, including invisibility. This is your key crowd control (CC) tool, allowing you to completely shut down the enemy's setup and turn the tide of a duel. 2. Chest: Choice Based on Budget Option 1 (Expensive / Aggressive): Feyscale Robe Condition: Equip only if you have a solid silver cushion. It maximizes your damage output to force fast, aggressive fights. Option 2 (Budget / Sustain): Mercenary Jacket Condition: Switch to this if you are on a tight budget or prefer a safer playstyle. Features: Leather armor provides a well-rounded balance of defense and resistances (which cloth robes lack). While your damage is slightly lower, the strategy completely shifts to sustaining through the third skill (Bloodlust) for damage and heavy healing. Depending on your preference, you can also optimize this setup for cooldown reduction. 3. Shoes: Royal Royal Shoes (Plate) Features: While plate shoes have access to the standard green skill (Refreshing Sprint for a small health regen), the choice here is the unique skill of the Royal Shoes. Skill: Offers a powerful burst of speed (strong acceleration) to easily catch up to running targets or gap-close. Drawbacks & Tactics: It has a long cooldown, but the massive mobility boost allows you to instantly lock down a target. Use it wisely while keeping the long cooldown in mind. 4. Cape: Smuggler's Cape (Bandit Cape) Core Mechanic: A unique cape tied to your potion slot usage. Effect: When you drink a potion (like a poison or a heal pot), the cape resets the cooldown of your potion slot, allowing you to use it consecutively. 5. Consumables: Health Regeneration Potions Choice: Healing potions that restore around 20–22% of your HP over a short duration. Tactics: Combined with the Smuggler's Cape, this grants you a double burst of heavy healing while you kite, reposition, and maneuver mid-combat.

By Guesty0707 · Solo MistsBuild that has really high damage against cloth and leather, lots of mobility, but it is expensive and needs really good skill in dodging stuff with the W or E spell of the bloodletter. Also it is really squishy. Use your Shoes of Tenacity + Cowl of Purity combo to get 700+ damage , then kite with your feyscale robe (fire ring) and dodge or kite with your w and q spells. When target is below 40% hp, use your E preferably paired with Shoes of Tenacity. Strong against: Lower IP than you Bloodletter with Stalker Jacket Any Stalker Jacket user Cloth armor if it's not an oneshot build Mercenary jacket Frost Staff Kiter Weak against: Higher IP than you Any Plate Armor Greathammer Helmets that have the first spell on them Mace
